Project Response Winter Drive for Clothing/Food/Supplies January 2025

It's time for our Winter Project Response drive, including any of the following:

• Warm Winter Clothing: jackets, scarves, gloves, hoodies, sweaters, shoes
• Monetary Donations: cash, gift cards, checks (to St. Max with "Project Response" in the memo line)
• Food Items: canned items, dry goods, snacks, etc.
• Household items: paper goods, cleaning supplies, etc.
• Personal Items: shaving, personal hygiene and care (esp. single-use items for homeless), etc.
• Baby and Child Items: diapers, wipes, baby layette, toys, story books, etc.
• School Supplies: crayons, construction/copy paper, notebooks, pens, pencils, etc.

Monetary and gift-card donations are particularly welcome and useful, and as always we will divvy them up among the agencies we regularly serve, e.g.: Angel's Way, Conejo Pregnancy Center, and Life Centers of Ventura County (the agencies that support mothers and babies); Heart-2-Heart (a foster care outfit); L.A.M.P. (social services); MANNA and James' Storehouse (food supplies); and St. Michael's school (our sister parish).  All the agencies have been struggling to serve their clients, whose needs are still growing as a result of rampant inflation.
        Our next Parking-Lot distribution will be on Saturday morning 1st Feb at 9am.
We will be collecting the above supplies after all the Masses for the two weekends before (18,19 and 25,26 January), or you can drop off bags during the week just inside the Pastoral Center (breezeway).

 If you are providing a check (which you can also drop off at the office or at Mass), please make it out to St. Max, with "Project Response" in the memo line.
